Small backyards often require the most creative design solutions, and this Lynnwood outdoor living project is a perfect example. The homeowners wanted a modern, low maintenance backyard with clean paver surfaces, landscape lighting, and multiple places to relax throughout the property. Their original backyard consisted of a small concrete landing and patchy grass that offered very little usable living space. Our goal was to maximize every square foot while making the backyard feel larger than it actually is.
We transformed the space into a complete outdoor living retreat by installing a raised paver patio, custom fire pit lounge, built in Ipe bench seating, Belgard Artforms planter boxes, artificial turf, decorative privacy screens, a dedicated hot tub patio beneath a custom shade sail, stepping stone pathways, landscape lighting, and new landscaping throughout. By carefully separating each destination while maintaining an open layout, we created a backyard that feels spacious, functional, and inviting for entertaining year round.
